This is a fairly large semi antique cauldron weighing just over 10 kilograms. It is tin lined, and was once used for the preparation of food. Lovely hand beaten with brass dovetailed seam along the lower edge of the body. The bottom is curved and does show some dents. There are no dents at all on the actual body of the cauldron. The handles are rivetted on securely, and made of heavy cast metal.
A wonderful item to have filled with fire wood logs, beside the fireplace.
