This prep bowl has been 'antique' finished with deliberate little dings and dents, which reflect the light beautifully to enhance the overall appearance of the copper prep bowl. There is no laquer on these bowls, but they have been specialised finished with a compound that prevents tarnish. All you will need to do is wipe the prep bowl with dishwasher liquid from time to time to maintain its shiny finish.
